Privacy Policy
Ongil ("we", "us") operates the mobile game Refugee Outpost (the "Service"). We respect your privacy and have established this Privacy Policy in accordance with applicable laws.
The Service has no sign-up or login, and we do not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or phone number. We do not operate our own servers. The information below is processed by third-party services to show ads and provide leaderboards.
1. Information Processed
Automatically processed when ads are served (Google AdMob)
- Advertising identifiers: iOS Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) — only if you allow tracking; Android Advertising ID (GAID)
- Device and app information: device model, OS version, app version, language/country (approximate region), IP address
- Ad interaction information: ad requests, impressions, and whether a rewarded ad was completed
When you use Game Center (iOS)
- If you are signed in to Apple Game Center, your deepest floor reached and lifetime ore scores are submitted to Game Center leaderboards.
- Your Game Center nickname may appear on leaderboards; this information is managed by Apple. We do not receive your Apple Account information.
When you make an in-app purchase
- Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store (or Google Play). We do not receive your name or payment method. The purchase record (product and transaction identifiers, purchase time, price, country) and a random anonymous user identifier created by the app are processed by RevenueCat to verify and restore purchases.
Stored only on your device (game progress)
- Game progress such as ore, Lantern Stones, purchased item effects, facility levels, residents, bestiary, and deepest floor reached, plus sound and vibration settings
- This data is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers. We do not access it.
2. Purposes
- Providing and operating the Service (the game)
- Serving rewarded ads and measuring ad performance
- Providing Game Center leaderboards
- Delivering paid items and restoring purchases

We use the following third-party services, each of which processes information under its own privacy policy.

4. Advertising Identifiers and Personalized Ads
The only ads in the Service are rewarded ads that you choose to watch in exchange for in-game rewards such as double mining or double offline earnings. Advertising identifiers may be used to show personalized ads, and you can opt out or reset them at any time.
- iOS — decline the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt shown on first launch, or change it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Android — Settings → Privacy → Ads: delete or reset your advertising ID
- Users in the EEA/UK are asked for consent through the Google UMP consent form.
Opting out does not limit your use of the Service; ads you see may simply be less relevant.
5. Retention and Deletion
- Ad-related information is retained according to Google's policies.
- Game Center scores follow Apple's policies and can be managed by you in Game Center.
- Game progress is deleted from your device when you delete the app.
6. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 (or under 13 in some countries, such as the United States). If we learn that such information has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
7. Your Rights
- Opt out of ad tracking and reset your advertising identifier (see Section 4)
- Sign out of Game Center and manage your scores: iOS Settings → Game Center
- Delete your game progress: delete the app

8. International Transfers
Because of the nature of third-party services (Google, Apple), information may be processed on servers outside the Republic of Korea. Each provider applies safeguards required by applicable law.
9. Security
We apply reasonable safeguards, including minimizing the information processed, using trusted third-party services, and encryption in transit.
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy is effective as of October 27, 2026. Any additions, deletions, or changes will be announced on this page.
